The Dayton Business Journal recognized LMG as a 2016 Best Place to Work in Dayton, and we celebrated at the awards ceremony with an original cheer, spinning batons, and showcasing plenty of LMG spirit. The honor was based on employee surveys about why we love where we work, but a survey can only measure so much. To give you a better idea, we want to share individual stories about what makes LMG a pretty cool place to work—from standout memories and moments, to a company culture so appealing that some of us happily commute an hour (each way, every day) to be part of this team.
Personally, my favorite LMG memories are experiences that happened away from the office. Not that I mind spending time in a loft-style building with exposed brick and vaulted ceilings—not too shabby for my first job out of school! Still, Dragons games, happy hours, and creative off-sites allow for quality co-worker bonding that you don’t necessarily get in a kickoff meeting or design review. Each experience is an adventure, and all of them have led me to love and respect the people I work with. I’ve formed friendships here that I know I will cherish and keep, no matter where my career path may lead.
