Office Art: Homage and Inspiration

Written by Doug Lunne | Aug 9, 2017 4:00:00 AM

As creatives, we thrive in vibrant spaces and soak up inspiration from unique surroundings. To keep the LMG offices looking good, we pay homage to other creatives and display artwork from several local artists—including a piece from one of our own!

Accomplished Dayton (now Indianapolis) artist and writer Susanne Scherette King combines layers of acrylic paint, pencil, and more to achieve a mysterious, bold composition.

This modern, clean-lined collage of new and reclaimed wood was crafted by LMG Art Director Brad Dunham. Brad has done extensive work with wood, metal, and more.

This original oil painting of an industrial scene is the work of Cincinnati artist R.C. Cooke. The painting depicts a group of bridges with rolling hills in the background and red buildings to the foreground.

Cincinnati artist Roland Huston was a master teacher from 1987 to 2005. He studied under Paul Chidlaw at the Cincinnati Art Academy. During his career, he completed hundreds of paintings, including this one featuring a potted plant with vibrant colors and keen perspective.

This painting features the outdoor bar at the San Vigilio Hotel on Lake Garda, Italy. Famous for celebrity guests (including Prince Charles and Lady Diana), this hotel offers luxury on the shores of a tranquil lake.

Stay tuned for more “Office Art” posts in the future, when we’ll feature more great pieces from local artists!
